Bacon Jam Glazed Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Blue Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2–3 tbsp TBJ Gourmet Bacon Jam
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for added crunch)
  • 1 tsp balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)

 


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Prepare the Brussels sprouts:
Toss the halved Brussels sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.

3. Roast the Brussels sprouts:
Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they’re golden brown and slightly crispy.

4. Glaze with bacon jam:
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and carefully toss them with TBJ Gourmet Bacon Jam. Return them to the oven for an additional 5–7 minutes, allowing the glaze to caramelize.

5. Add blue cheese and toppings:
Once the Brussels sprouts are roasted and caramelized, transfer them to a serving dish. Sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese, chopped nuts (if using), and drizzle with balsamic glaze for a touch of sweetness.

6. Serve immediately:
